Loud Enough
Is it even worthwhile to protect oneself from disconnections? To always screen thyself and to select what and when to hear? The majority of soundscapes do not belong to us, humans. They do not belong to no one. Gaps, ruptures, dissolutions all have sounding presences.
What aural regimes exist beneath the apparent composition of particular soundscapes? These works investigate what occurs when recognizable soundscapes are reassembled and/or passed by.
